According to the NCA, the undersea cable disruptions occurred primarily in Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire, with additional disruptions reported in Portugal. These cables are crucial for carrying international traffic, and their failure has significantly impacted data services throughout the country.

The statement acknowledged that Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) are also facing service challenges due to these disruptions. However, the MNOs have implemented redundancy measures and are diligently working to restore full services. Additionally, affected customers have been informed of the disruptions through various communication channels.
