DStv and GOtv subscribers in Nigeria are in for another price hike as MultiChoice announces a third increase in 2023. The pay-tv company said the price adjustment was due to the rising costs of business operations and, as such, was to take effect on November 6.
“Please note that from November 6, your monthly subscription (premium) will be N29,500,” it said.

The latest review of prices becomes the third in the space of 10 months after initial reviews in April and May. The increase comes as Nigerians continue to battle the ripple effect of fuel subsidy removal and the weakening value of the country’s currency on the FX market.
With the 17% hike, the price of the Compact Plus bouquet would move to N19,000 from N16,600 monthly. Subscribers on the Compact bouquet will now pay N12,500 as against N10,500, while those on the Confam package will pay N7,400 compared to the previous N6,200.

New DSTV Prices
For the DSTV packages, the premium package now goes for N29,500, up from its previous price of N24,500. The Compact+ now goes for N19,000, up from N16,600 previously. The compact and confam bouquets now go for N12,500 and N7,400, respectively, up from N10,500 and N6,200.
Lastly, the new price for the Yanga bouquet is now N4,200, up from its previous price of N3,500.
New GOTV Prices
For the GOtv packages, the Supa pack, the highest bouquet, which previously went for N6,400, is now up to N7,600. The Max and Jolli packages, previously N4,850 and N3,300, are also now up to the new prices of N5,700 and N3,950, respectively. The last package, which is the Gotv Jinja, now costs N2,700, up from the initial price of N2,250.
