Representing Huawei Nigeria, Director of Huawei Cloud Nigeria, Hugo Hu, emphasized the pivotal role of startups in Nigeria’s economic development. He underscored Huawei’s dedication to nurturing innovation and excellence through the startup program, which aims to empower entrepreneurs to succeed in the digital age.

Huawei Cloud’s comprehensive suite of cloud services was hailed as a catalyst for digital transformation, providing startups with the tools and resources needed to thrive in a global marketplace. Ecosystem Director, Paul Adigu, highlighted Huawei Cloud’s track record of empowering Nigerian startups to scale internationally, citing success stories in ICT development and e-governance.

Huawei Cloud’s platform, renowned for its agility, cost-effectiveness, and user-friendly interface, offers startups access to a wealth of resources designed to fuel their expansion. Each startup participating in the program stands to benefit from credits worth $150,000, enabling them to leverage Huawei Cloud’s extensive network of hubs and venture capitalists.

During the event, startup founders shared insights into their entrepreneurial journeys, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, customer-centricity, and resilience. A panel discussion titled “From Startup to Scaleup: Navigating the Growth of Startup in Nigeria” featured industry experts sharing strategies for scaling startups in the Nigerian market.
