The UCT GSB Solution Space, in collaboration with ayoba, has opened applications for the latest edition of the e-Track programme, designed to support startups from across the African continent.
About the e-Track Programme
The e-Track programme is an early-stage venture acceleration and capacity-building initiative aimed at high-impact entrepreneurs. It is run by the UCT GSB Solution Space, a specialized centre within the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, and is funded by ayoba, a super-app aimed at reducing the digital divide in Africa and accelerating the growth of small businesses.
Programme Phases
Phase One: Venture Launch Programme
- Focus: Validating the venture concept.
- Participants: Suitable for individuals developing both for-profit and non-profit scale-ups.
- Outcome: Successful participants will receive a UCT GSB certificate and an invitation to pitch for Phase Two.
Phase Two: Venture Acceleration
- Selection: Only 15 startups will be selected from those who completed Phase One.
- Objective: Accelerate the development of validated ventures.
- Culmination: A pitch day where startups present to potential investors, venture capitalists, and capacity builders.
