Egypt has unveiled a major set of digital transformation projects for the Ministry of Justice, in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to digitize state institutions. The initiatives were officially launched by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Minister of Justice Adnan Al-Fangari during a ceremony at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital.
The event was attended by senior judicial leaders, including Court of Cassation and Supreme Judicial Council President Assem El-Ghaish, Public Prosecutor Mohamed Shawky, Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority President Hussein Madkour, and Administrative Prosecution Authority President Mohamed El-Shenawy, alongside officials from partner technology companies.
The new projects include a revamped Ministry of Justice digital portal, expanded inquiry services for marriage and church registrars, a dedicated authentication services portal, and an interactive map of courts, real estate registration offices, and prosecution branches. Additional services cover remote document translation, judicial enforcement e-services, a healthcare app for judicial employees, a new Ministry of Justice mobile app, and the digitalization of dispute reconciliation committees. An updated legal encyclopedia with advanced search tools was also launched.
MCIT Minister Talaat described the initiatives as a breakthrough in building “Digital Egypt’s justice system,” enhancing accessibility and efficiency while preserving the judiciary’s authority. He noted that the projects integrate citizen services, judicial empowerment tools, and government-to-government platforms.
Justice Minister Al-Fangari emphasized that the modernization drive reflects the Ministry’s commitment to simplifying citizens’ access to justice while empowering judicial authorities. He added that the digital initiatives form part of Egypt’s broader renaissance under President El-Sisi, reinforcing transparency, efficiency, and public trust.
The ceremony concluded with recognition of the joint teams and partner companies that developed the projects.
