MEST Africa, a leading technology incubator in Africa, has invested in three promising startups from its recent Entrepreneurs-in-Training (EIT) program, selected from over 1,000 applicants. The EIT program is a fully funded, year-long initiative aimed at providing aspiring entrepreneurs with crucial skills in software development, business strategy, and communications.

At the end of the program, high-potential startups have the chance to receive up to $100,000 in seed funding and business incubation from MEST.

The three new pre-seed startups joining MEST Africa’s portfolio are:

  • Worklyn: A workspace solution that automates task tracking across different channels and centralizes communication tools, including direct integration with WhatsApp.
  • Intelli Concierge: A multichannel assistant that enhances customer interactions by automating responses to repetitive questions on platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and email, while fetching real-time information.
  • Pikelo: A mobile application that helps francophone professionals learn English through engaging conversations with human-like avatars, providing instant feedback.

MEST Africa has a strong track record of supporting African innovation, having invested in over 90 startups and trained more than 1,000 entrepreneurs since 2013.
