In this limited test observed by Android Police, Google Maps is showcasing entrance markers for various building types, including hotels and stores, across different cities worldwide such as New York City, Las Vegas, and Berlin. These markers are represented by a white circle with a green border and an inward-pointing arrow.

While the feature is promising, it appears to be available to only a subset of users and may still require additional data to ensure accuracy. As of now, it has been spotted on Google Maps for Android version 11.17.0101, but its widespread availability remains uncertain. Furthermore, it seems to be a device-specific test rather than linked to individual accounts.

The introduction of entrance markers could significantly enhance the navigation experience for Google Maps users, offering more precise guidance to their desired destinations.
