Angola is reportedly in advanced discussions with Elon Musk’s Starlink to introduce the satellite internet service to the country, according to Bloomberg. Angola’s Telecommunications and Information Technologies Minister, Mario de Oliveira, confirmed the talks, stating that the discussions with Starlink are progressing well, following meetings in New York.
Other African nations are also engaging with Starlink. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa recently revealed that he had talks with Musk about potential investments in South Africa and the introduction of Starlink services. Additionally, Starlink has already launched its satellite internet service in Burundi.
