African startups are invited to apply for the 10k2Startup initiative. The 10k2Startup initiative in Ghana supports African startups with funding between $10,000 to $50,000 and strategic guidance in exchange for equity stakes ranging from 15% to 25%. Portfolio companies include Homely, Nuelle Organics, and Green Tech.

In addition to funding, 10k2Startup aims to be a strategic growth partner, providing expert guidance, helping entrepreneurs navigate challenges, and connecting them with a network of investors, collaborators, and customers to accelerate their growth.

“The investment decisions are based on the stage of the startup, its potential for growth, and the traction it has achieved. Essentially, the more promising the startup, the greater the investment and equity stake,” said Owusu-Kyerematen.

Owusu-Kyerematen emphasized the importance of founders who exhibit passion, tenacity, discipline, and strategic acumen.

“Meticulous planning, unwavering focus, and a relentless pursuit of excellence are qualities we hold in high regard—showcasing these attributes sets the stage for monumental achievements and positions your startup on the path to success,” he added.

Interested ventures can apply for 10k2Startup’s second cycle until July 15. Shortlisted startups will be invited for a 30-minute pitch session by July 31, with funding decisions made within two weeks.
