As reported by TechLabari, Jumia, the prominent e-commerce platform serving Africa, has selected the Agility Logistics Park (ALP) in Tema, Ghana, as its new central hub for fulfilment operations across Ghana.

Jumia will lease a 6,000-square-meter space at ALP for the next decade. The space will serve as a comprehensive fulfilment center, providing storage, order processing, and office facilities to support Jumia’s expanding operations. From here, the facility will handle a diverse range of products and manage the delivery process for consumers nationwide.

According to Jumia Ghana’s CEO, Temidayo Ojo, “We chose Agility Logistics Park in Tema for its strategic location, which enables us to enhance delivery speed and efficiency throughout Ghana. With increased storage capacity, the new facility allows us to manage our growing product range more effectively, helping us meet the expectations of Ghanaian customers.”
Geoffrey White, CEO of Agility Africa, expressed similar optimism, saying, “We’re thrilled that Jumia has chosen our facility in Tema.
