TLcom Capital is hosting the 6th Africa Tech Female Founder Summit on October 15, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya. The event will feature prominent speakers, including Nelly Chatue-Diop, Nneile Nkholise, Rasha Rady, and Sneha Mehta, who will discuss “Scaling and Sustaining Growth.” Attendees will also be able to participate in workshops and mentoring sessions covering key topics such as “Budgeting and KPI Design” and “Growth Strategies and Scaling Successfully.”

The event, themed “Transformative Leadership: Redefining Success in Tech,” is set to be Africa’s largest gathering of women tech entrepreneurs, bringing together female founders to connect, learn, and share experiences.

A key highlight of the summit will be the opportunity for pre-selected startups to pitch their companies and receive valuable feedback from leading investors, such as Yemi Keri (Rising Tide Africa) and Joyce-Anne Wainai (Chui Ventures).

Omobola Johnson, Senior Partner at TLcom Capital, highlighted the significance of the summit in light of current challenges in the tech ecosystem, explaining how it will showcase the high-performance qualities needed for female founders to emerge as industry leaders. Andreata Muforo, Partner at TLcom, further emphasized the focus on leadership, decision-making, and cultivating culture to inspire women leaders in the tech industry.

TLcom Capital, with a 60% female leadership team, continues to demonstrate its commitment to female founders, having supported startups like Okra, Andela, and Kobo360. The summit provides a unique platform for female entrepreneurs across Africa to redefine success in tech, offering insights and networking opportunities to foster growth and innovation. Applications for the summit are now open.
