The investment brings two new board members to Seamfix – Tokunboh Ishmael and Frank Atube. Ishmael, Co-founder and Principal Partner of Alitheia Capital, and Atube, with extensive experience in cross-functional leadership roles, are expected to contribute significantly to Seamfix’s growth trajectory.
Tokunboh Ishmael highlighted the importance of digital IDs in unlocking economic potential, particularly for women in low-income communities. This investment underscores Alitheia IDF’s commitment to enabling millions of women to participate in the African economy by providing crucial identification services and empowering businesses across the continent to scale.
Seamfix already made significant contributions, collaborating with major telcos and financial institutions to facilitate seamless creation, verification, and access to trusted digital identities and services. Notably, Seamfix developed a digital solution enabling widespread access to National Identification Numbers (NINs) for over 100 million Nigerians and supported telcos in registering and verifying a database of over 200 million Subscriber Identification Modules (SIMs) to comply with regulations.
